Workplace snacking may seem innocent, but we are seeing this as a significant barrier to PreventScripts RPM patients meeting their health goals! Here are a few tips to help you get through your work day healthy!
Avoid Temptation: If there is a particular room where all of the unhealthy treats are, try to avoid it as much as possible.
Pack Your Lunch: Knowing your healthy lunch is close by will help you stay on track.
Be MINDFUL: Mindful eating is an important part of office mealtimes. Take a break, slow down, chew your food, Enjoy it!
Bring Healthy Snacks: A veggie tray can go a long way when you have a craving. Bring carrots, snap peas with Hummus.
Enlist a Buddy: Research shows that enlisting a buddy can help you stay on track. Your "work buddy" can go on a "walking meeting" with you or share in a "healthy lunch" together.
Create Healthy Office Competition:
Consider other Health Factors? Are you getting enough sleep? Are you drinking enough water? How are your stress levels? Maintaining your hydration and sleeping at night will take you a long way in avoiding cravings during the day while you are working.
